Had lunch there on a weekday. Got the set lunch (2 courses) for $48++: Escargot (which I enjoyed a lot) and their famous beef steak. Honestly I find the steak meh, quite tough to bite at medium (though the waiter said it’s cooked like medium rare) and the sauce just flood the flavour of the meat.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant that left a lasting impression on me. The star of the show was undoubtedly the steak and fries, while i order the oysters as well. The fries were absolutely amazing, perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, making for an irresistible side dish.
While the quality of the steak was commendable, I must admit that the accompanying sauce fell short of my expectations. It had a slightly acidic taste that didn't quite complement the flavors as I had hoped. However, this minor setback didn't overshadow the overall dining experience.
The service at the restaurant was top-notch, with attentive staff members who were friendly and accommodating. They ensured that my dining experience was pleasant and enjoyable. The ambience of the restaurant added to the overall charm, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
In conclusion, while the sauce accompanying the steak was a bit disappointing, the delicious fries, excellent service, and cozy ambience more than made up for it. Additionally, the restaurant's location in a beautiful area added an extra element of charm. I would highly recommend visiting this establishment for a memorable dining experience.
The steak at this restaurant is delicious, and I highly recommend trying either the entrecôte or the tenderloin. The quality of the meat is exceptional, and it's definitely a highlight of the dining experience.
However, I must mention that the service could use some improvement. On a couple of occasions, I had to remind the staff to provide napkins, which is a minor inconvenience. Additionally, the waiters seemed inexperienced in pouring wine, resulting in a small amount of wine being wasted. It would be beneficial if the staff received further training in these areas to enhance the overall dining experience.
One aspect worth noting is that the restaurant charges $3 per bottle of still water, as indicated on the receipt. While this might not be a significant issue for some, it's worth considering for those who prefer complimentary tap water or have budgetary constraints.
On a positive note, the ambiance and surroundings of the restaurant are quite pleasant, making it an ideal location for a romantic date. The attractive setting adds to the overall experience and creates a welcoming atmosphere.
In summary, while the steak at this restaurant is undeniably delicious, there are a few aspects of the service that could be improved, such as the attentiveness of the staff and their knowledge of wine pouring. Additionally, the extra charge for still water might be a consideration for some diners. Nevertheless, the restaurant's charming ambiance makes it a recommended choice for a memorable date night.
Ordered a set meal(58++) for lunch.
For the starter, the snail prepared with butter and garlic is good while the baguette is kinda soggy and considered normal. 3.5/5
The green salad is below average. Lettuce not fresh and seasoning bad. 2/5
For the main course, the trimmed steak is good. I ordered medium and readiness is excellent. The secret sauce is a bit sour for me but still good. It would be better if the gravy could be served separately. The portion of fries is super large and I cannot even finish half. 4/5
For the dessert, Paris Brest is chosen but it really disappointed me. The cream is soaking, making it impossible to be cut into small parts. 2/5
Overall, the taste is good, mainly contributed by the taste and portion of the main course. 3.5/5
Service is good and attentive but I might be smoked. Atmosphere is good. Wine and cocktail list falls on the expensive side.
In summary, it serves some good steak but other dishes a bit disappointing. Besides, kinda pricey.
Had a nice lunch at the quiet atmosphere in the afternoon. The drinks served was tasty and the wine is good as well.
The lunch menu is very affordable and the signature steak is flavourful. The sauce and fries are free flow as well. Do note that the salad and steak are already part of the 2 items fixed in the set lunch when choosing between 3 course and 4 course.
Overall, would definitely come back again to try more of their selections and to thank the service staff Nisha for providing us good service!

Went to L’Entrecote on a Saturday evening (20 Jan 2024), and made a booking ahead of time. Was a good choice to make a booking as it was a full house for indoor seating.
Waiter who served our table asked us whether we wanted still or sparkling water. We asked for tap water but apparently the restaurant does not have tap water. Water is $3 for free-flow, and waiter asked us at least 4 times throughout the night whether we wanted to have water.
Food was passable. I ordered the Trim Entrecot Steak. Waiter asked whether we wanted refills for fries and sauce. To have truffle fries, my friend added on $4, but the truffle taste was not very strong and it tasted more like parmesan cheese fries instead. The salad was not bad, with quite a number of walnuts as well. Steak was so-so, sauce was a bit tangy for my tastes. Waiter suggested to us a few times whether we wanted to just get the free-flow steak.
Overall the experience was below average. I personally felt that the staff was slightly pushy. Other people’s experiences may differ.
glad that we reserved a table indoors on a Saturday evening as the place was pretty packed when we arrived. service was friendly & prompt, with the staff knowledgeable on their menu offerings. limited mains available, but it wasn't an issue for us as we came specially for their steak & fries. requested for my steak to be done medium-well & was really pleased with the doneness when it was served. also happy to know that they provide free flow of their perfectly salted fries! oh so yummy! 😋 just note parking might be tricky if you're planning to dine during peak meal times though.
This was my second time here in the Duxton's outlet. I was surprised that the restaurant was pretty quiet on a Friday evening. There were only about 3 to 4 tables when we were there. So I guess reservations are not really a must but optional. I always like L'entrecote's no frills steak and (free flow) fries. The steak was done perfect and the sauce was so good. This was also the first time I had really crispy fries, most of the time the fries were soggy. I would have ask for seconds if I was not full already. Oh, and the escargots for starter is also good. But 6 pieces are a bit too little. I wished it was more.
